Amber Lucy profile

Amber Lucy

Thread Architecture’s rope sculptures are drawn from a visceral architectural aesthetic intertwined with experimental craft techniques.  The detailed and structurally driven works are produced through exploratory methods whilst contemplating the complexities of creative thought. Her work explores the intersection of conscious and unconscious creative processes, with each influencing the other in a fluid and dynamic manner.  Through this exploration with both physical materials, architectural forms and thought processes, she creates unique and tactile works.

Collaborating with architects, interior designers and private clients, drives the continual experimentation of each unique body of work.
